Ok, I don’t literally have squirrels in my studio. The “squirrels” I’m referring to are the multiple projects I have at the moment – in assorted stages of completion. I admit, it’s not unusual for me to have 2-3 projects in progress at one time – some chaos is normal for me – but this feels excessive even for me.

Here’s a view of my work space at the moment.

I don’t have a large design board but what I have is filled with these unfinished projects.

I can’t seem to get out of my scrap bin.  Most of my in-progress projects are a result of me playing with scraps – and I do mean scraps: 3/4″ – 1″ squares or 1″ strings seem to be my obsession for the moment.

No matter how many scraps I use, the pieces don’t go away – they seem to multiply instead. I started quilting thinking it would be a great way to use up leftover fabric from sewing projects….. You can see how that worked out for me! Scraps begat scraps, begat scraps, begat scraps. It never ends.

Here’s hoping for a finish soon….if I could only focus.

Looks like you’ve got a lot of creative energy going on! All of the projects are so good, how could you choose just one?

Those same squirrels are in my head, making me NUTS! LOL!!! Makes it hard to focus and complete one thing, when 10 others need my attention. YOU manage to get a LOT completed, just sometimes it overwhelms you …Just keep SEWING 🙂

Your red and pink medallion is stunning. The density of the strings complements the single fabric rounds. Thanks for sharing.
